Keeping Our Backyard Clean
Taking care of our region is a shared responsibility. Whether you’re doing a spring yard clean-up in Cowley, clearing out a basement in the Crowsnest Pass, or tackling a home renovation in Pincher Creek, we are here to help you dispose of your household waste safely and responsibly.
Want to get in and out fast?
The secret is in the packing. Separate your waste before you leave home. Keep your wood, metal, and general household garbage in distinct piles in your truck or trailer. Not only does this get you through our drop-off zones much faster, but it also guarantees you won't get hit with a sorting fee at the gate for a mixed load. Win-win!
Residential Waste Management
Upon Check-In.
Everyone must weigh in and out at the Scale House. To keep things fair and cost-effective, your disposal fees depend on where you live and how much you're hauling:
Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek & Cowley:
Your typical household drop-offs are covered. You only pay at the scale if your load exceeds 500 KG.MD of Pincher Creek:
You are covered for large loads up to 2,000 KG (2 Metric Tonnes). However, if your load exceeds 2,000 KG, you are responsible for paying for the entire load at the scale. (Note: If you hire a private company to haul your waste, they will be charged at the scale and will bill that cost back to you).
